The purpose of the PCNE-wiki is to collect and display pharmaceutical care and pharmacy practice related information in order to further develop patient oriented pharmacy practice, especially in Europe. It also want to stimulate discussion and therefore the Wiki is constructed as a knowledge base and discussion platform around a number of core topics relating to pharmaceutical care and pharmacy practice. The discussions are supported by well-referenced materials.

Anyone with an interest in the development of pharmacy practice may use the site and contribute to it, after access has been granted by the PCNE secretariat. In order to contribute and add comments, you must be a registered user. Activate RSS feeds to receive automatic alerts of changes to the Wiki.

Please note: Although the Pharmaceutical Care Association Europe is responsible for this Wiki, the association cannot be held responsible for incorrect information on the Wiki pages, or insulting or angry comments in discussion sections.

The Wiki can be used in many ways

If you look for certain documents, the hint is to use the SEARCH facility in the upper right corner. This searches all contents in the entire Wiki and will quickly guide you to the right pages. You may also enter via the topic groups , which you can find by clicking on 'Wiki' above. Please let us know your comments.

Comments and Wiki contributions

Important notice

After the WHO stopped supporting Europharm Forum, the member-organisations (national pharmacist associations) also gradually withdrew, and Europharm Forum has ceased to exist by the end of 2015.The ownership of the Observatory was transferred to the Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe on 1st November 2015, and the observatory was subsequently renamed 'Wiki', to do more justice to its content.

Updating and maintenance of the Wiki now falls under the responsibility of the Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (see also www.pcne.org). We are busy making the Wiki more up-to date, but please bear with us, it will take some time. Address all questions you may have to info@pcne.org.
