The purpose of the PCNE-wiki is to collect and display pharmaceutical care and pharmacy practice related information in order to further develop patient oriented pharmacy practice, especially in Europe. It also want to stimulate discussion and therefore the Wiki is constructed as a knowledge base and discussion platform around a number of core topics relating to pharmaceutical care and pharmacy practice. The discussions are supported by well-referenced materials.

Anyone with an interest in the development of pharmacy practice may use the site and contribute to it, after access has been granted by the PCNE secretariat. In order to contribute and add comments, you must be a registered user. Activate RSS feeds to receive automatic alerts of changes to the Wiki.

Please note: Although the Pharmaceutical Care Association Europe is responsible for this Wiki, the association cannot be held responsible for incorrect information on the Wiki pages, or insulting or angry comments in discussion sections.

 

The Wiki can be used in many ways

If you look for certain documents, the hint is to use the SEARCH facility in the upper right corner. This searches all contents in the entire Wiki and will quickly guide you to the right pages. You may also enter via the topic groups , which you can find by clicking on 'Wiki' above. Please let us know your comments.

 

Comments and Wiki contributions

Comments and contributions to the Wiki are moderated and should be professional in tone and on topic.  We reserve the right to remove posts or parts of a Wiki at our sole discretion.

 

To start a new discussion/wiki

If you wish to start a discussion or seek inspiration or evidence, just send your request to the PCNE secretariat.

 

Your request must be in the following format:

  • Your key question
  • The background for your key question
  • What you already know, incl. a reference list (as Wiki starting point)
  • Some professional information about yourself.

Updating and maintenance of the Wiki falls under the responsibility of the Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (see also www.pcne.org).
